Dian Hakiki (“Kiki”) joined RMP Law Firm in 2020 and currently specializes in various practice areas such as Intellectual Property, corporate and commercial transactions, employment, general litigation, and acts for both Plaintiffs and Defendants representing individuals and corporate bodies. His main focus is on debt recovery, personal injury and credit hire. Kiki also specialises in criminal defence work, representing individuals and corporate bodies in defence of Government prosecutions.
He has been actively involved in advising and representing clients on full range of contentious and non-contentious intellectual property works. He also possesses a range of experience in several commercial intellectual property related transactions, industrial relations related disputes, intellectual property and debt recovery raids, bankruptcy and suspension of payment proceedings.
Kiki holds a Bachelor of Laws from Atma Jaya University in Jakarta. He has a wide experience acting as legal consultant, legal auditor, and Intellectual Property consultant. Kiki is a licensed advocate and a member of the Associations of Indonesian Advocates (PERADI). He is also registered to practice before the Indonesian Intellectual Property Office as an IP Consultant, and he is a licensed curator (receiver) and administrator in a bankruptcy or suspension of payment processes. He is professionally proficient in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Representing Caberg S.p.A, an Italy based company, in intellectual property dispute with Indonesian local company and/or individual.
- Representing Laboratorios Hipra S.A, a Spain based company, in enforcing its favorable decision which ends into a settlement agreement to recover their rights.
- Assisting Grab in several cases to defend Grab and its affiliation in various cases of civil action.
- Handling Optik Tunggal trademark portofolio for its products.
- Assisting Wika Gedung & Bangunan’s copyrights and trademark portofolio for its design and/or programme.
- Representing Diebold to carry out several civil action against the counterparts to recover its rights.
- Co-Assisting Grab Indonesia in dispute involving third party on technology dispute issues with the value of Grab’s receivables in the amount of fifty billion Indonesia Rupiah.
- Assisting DXC Technology in a dispute against a multinational bank based in Indonesia, in regards to protection of its intellectual property, invocation of bank guarantee, advising on potential civil or criminal action.
